Admission Policy

Age Policy

Age is very important determinant in the admission process. Every child to be admitted must be physically, emotionally, socially and psychologically ready so this policy ensures that children attain the right age for each of the classes they are seeking to be admitted into.

CRECHEAGE 3 MONTHS - 1 YEAR 5 MONTHS
K.G 1AGE 1 YEAR 5 MONTHS - 2 YEARS 5 MONTHS
K.G 2AGE 2 YEARS 5 MONTHS - 3 YEARS 5 MONTHS
PREPARATORY 1AGE 3 YEARS 5 MONTHS - 4 YEARS 5 MONTHS
PREPARATORY 2AGE 4 YEARS 5 MONTHS - 5 +
GRADE 1AGE 5 - 6
GRADE 2AGE 6 - 7
GRADE 3AGE 7 - 8
GRADE 4AGE 8 - 9
GRADE 5AGE 9 - 10
GRADE 6AGE 10 - 11
Every child to be admitted ito these classes must have attained those ages, on or before september ending of that school year. Later births after september might be referred to the class succeeding the class in which admission is sought for except in very exceptional cases of brilliance ad high IQ (GIFTED/TALENTED CHILDREN)

Placement

Placement tests must be conducted for new intakes and class placement will be considered base on age and performance of the pupil during the test.

The outcome of the test must be discussed by the school and the prospective parents pointing out reasons for whatever decisions made.

The Admission/Enrolment Process

  • The Admission secretary/head of school is responsible for enrollment
  • Enrolments are done on first come, first serce basis. Once the number of spaces allocated for each class gets filled, admission will close for that class.
  • Buying and filling of admission forms are compulsory for all prospective as their profile and details can only be duly stored through there. No child will be admitted to class without the submission of admission forms and any lapse on this should be borne by any parent who delays in hadling this vital idocument over to the school.
    All conditions on the form must be adhered to especially on the health information.
  • OTHER POLICIES MUST BE DISCUSSED WITH THE PROSPECTIVE PARENT BEFORE ENROLMENT PARTICULARLY THE MORA CONDUCT, THE ACADEMIC AND THE SCHOOL FEES POLICIES AMONG OTHERS
  • ONCE ALL POLICIES HAVE BEEN DULY EXPLAINED AND SIGNED, THE PROSPECT IS GIVEN A LETTER OF Admission.
